On the Coupled Nonstationary Electroelastic Oscillations of a Piezoceramic Cylinder with Radial Polarization

A solution is proposed to the fully coupled problem of electro-elastic non-steady-state oscillations of a piezoceramic cylinder preliminary polarized along a radius (the strong coupling case). Based on the derived law of conservation of energy of an electromechanical system and its difference analogue, a second-order variational-type difference scheme has been constructed by using the method of approximation of quadratic functionals. The variational difference scheme, obtained with the proposed methodology, provides a way to conserve the properties of the original dynamic differential model on the grid.
